Ice and advil then go to a specialist please. Do not put yourself through this by putting it off. It does not work believe me.

I had pain in the knees for years. Since I now have new knees thru knee replacement, I am fine! What a price to pay for relief! There were 45 sutures with staples on the right knee to be removed, and 40 sutures with staples on the left knee, gond thing they were 4 years apart! Did develop a blood clot behind the left knee which caused me to be out of work another 2 months instead of 4 months! Thank God I have good klnees now to walk! Grandpa Bill

I usually have to get up a few times a night.. walking a bit seems to help; heat - infarred and deep tissiue massage.. work on stretching those hamstrings. lidoderm patches and topicals when I really need the rest (muscle fatigue). I also wear 40 tension TED hose and the pressure seems to help.. of course the battle with my hands and trying to reach my feet to get them one could probably be described as comical.. hope you find some relief. rest and sleep are important to keep inflamation down.

I have IT Band Syndrome and I am to take physical therapy. It is the band that connects to the hip and the knee, there has been fluid on the left side of my left knee. I hope this helps.

I went to a physical therapist that does 'deep tissue manipulation'…This reduced the pain level so that I can exercize on the 'knee machine' at our church gym… I'm also exercizing —walk or treadmill, swim, and some prescribed exercizes— for a little over an hour per day…

Results are knee pain when getting up from a chair…but, otherwise nice…

I have found that same issue at night. My remedy is Capcazin direclty on knee area that hurts, then walking laps around dining room table for about 5 minutes. Little warm mild and fleece blanket around my knees when I lay back down and I can then sleep for a few more hours.

try a liquid glucosmaine supplement, like Syn-flex,the liquid goes right to the site and absorbs much faster than pills.
