Does anyone have any experience with using a recumbent bike after a total hip replacement? This applies to someone more than six months post-op.

I found one for $60 recently, use it daily for 15 to 30 minutes, usually 30, I'm excessive by nature…helps me a lot I think, makes me feel like I'm @ least doing something. I take it slowly though, and peddle backward occasionally to get a really good stop & stretch of each leg. Replaced right hip around the first of Feb. this year. Getting around fairly well, still need meds, using Lyrica currently, expensive as hell (there are several plans to help w/ the cost) but it works better than anything else I've used. Best wishes w/ your recovery. It's a bitch ain't it?
