Living with osteoarthritis

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I have been taking a lot of medication for this and I am still in a lot of pain. I can barely stand for one hour. I can't even think about waiting in queues. Is there anything that I can do to ease this pain? I tried physiotherapy but it is not so helpful. I have a lot of swelling in my joints right after the therapy. Please suggest some tips and remedies.

Hey Lucy, it is so great to meet you. I am really glad you are here. I am sorry to hear you are in this much pain. You are dealing with so much. I am a counselor, not a physician, so I am sorry to say I don't have any useful advice to give you about pain management. Are you on a medication? My clients tell me that arthritis treatment has come a long way. I encourage you to keep asking your doctor questions and keep advocating for yourself. I hope you have lots of supportive people around you. You are not alone! I hope you will stay in touch with us, my friend.
