i have been on many sites these last few years.at one point tried to start my own group in rhode island with one site but upon discovering arthritis connect i have honestly deleted all other sites in my bookmarks.all i can say is,ITS ABOUT TIME!ive only been a member a short time but will recommend this site above all others.my story is long, different,i think i'm in worst shape than most, but you know what?i already learned that we all on this site probly think the same things about their own pain as myself.were the ones feeling it so who else can understand what were going thru than us.i plan on writing my story here soon and don't want you guys an gals think i'm writing a novel. a little humor there.something thats been missing from my life for a while.this site is GREAT. thank you, russ

Thanks to this site I have friends that understand what my daily life is like. May sound odd but most people have no idea what living in daily pain is like or can do to you, your family and yourself. I check this site atleast once per day, sometimes multiple times per day, great info and wonderful friends. Thank God

I just found this site last month but didn't join in any discussions until the first of this week. I love this site! I like to share my experiences and knowledge and get suggestions and opinions. I like to come in here every night and read what people are saying. Keep up the good work!

Thank you Russ! That is what we want to hear. In addition, we would love to hear your story. Our goal is to provide an online support system for people struggling with the reality of arthritis in their lives. No one can truly understand what is like living with any one of the 100 forms of arthritis except those who suffer. I am so happy to be a part of this and I am so happy that you joined us. Together we can work towards awareness and promoting positivity amongst all the difficulties that arthritis brings to our lives.

Forty-seven million Americans suffer from some form of arthritis so there is no question that arthritis is simple or invisible but it helps to put a face on it. What people do not realize that arthritis can affect anyone regardless of age or gender; whether it is a young mother struggling to raise her children while she lives with rheumatoid arthritis; or a small child living with the reality of some form of Juvenile Arthritis; or a teenager youth enjoying life despite Ankylosing Spondylitis; or a grandparent chasing after their grandchildren despite osteoarthritis, arthritis is a part of our society and it is not going anywhere.

Again, thank you Russ for joining us and for your kind words.
