Hi friends, something that really helps me w/priorities is to keep a list
right near me- such as on my dining room table. I cross things off that
are done & always start with the most important things first if I am able
to. That really helps me to feel more in control of my day/s. I am a big
list maker & know that when I follow my list I always feel much better
at the end of the day. When I am unable to finish the list; it becomes
my starting point the following day. Hugs, marieanne

I struggled with it at first but I have learned be upfront about why am not physically doing something and that instead I offer knowledge and opinions. It keeps me from feeling useless and in the loop with my daughters school activities and PTO. I do the same thing at work and it seems to be working for now. The "me" time is something that my husband insisted on to relax and it really has made a difference.

Hi Dear Butterfly09, this is so very hard to do but I feel that if we
don't do it we can become so overwhelmed as to make ourselves sicker-
(the saying NO) The "me time" is very important too, as well as asking for
help from others. It's amazing just how adaptable we can be, when we try. :)
    Hugs, marieanne

I have discovered " me" time and how to say NO to others when I need too. I have also learned to tell others when I need help.
