osteo arthritis in knee

please can anyone help memas i just dont seem to be getting anywhere.i was diagnosed with arthritis in my knne several years ago.admitted to hospital in nvember with pertruding disc lying on nerve,got that sorted out.had a fall in there landed on my knees ,full force.have not been able to walk properly since.my leg gives in.had xrays on hip& knee 2week ago.hip showing some changes,been reffered to see orthopeidic doctor,but nothink showing up at all on my knee,can arthritis disapear,dont think so.?does anyone know if xrays sometimes dont show up.i am puzzeled.lnda stead

Hi, sorry to hear of all the trouble you have had with your knees. I have never heard of arthritis disapearing, when you got to the orthopedic doctor, maybe you should mention it and they may re-scan you or give you an MRI or ultra sound on your knee.

hi,thanks for your concern.i blame it on my docter.idont like saying that.after 8 months of pain ,he has only referred me to see orthopedic doctor.apparantly sometimes things dont show up.havent even got appointment yet.will let you know any news.thanks again .lynda.
